Purely Hypothetical Question, Of Course

If I were able to make it to NYC sometime in January, is there anyone who would be kind enough to have me as a house guest for a few days? I don't snore or have any real disgusting habits, and I'll promise to bring all sorts of goodies in exchange for a place to lay my head.

we live about an hour outside of NYC, and there is a train here that you can catch, to get into the city. if you can't find any closer options -- you are welcome to stay here. I will, however, be away to England until the 15th of January, but if the place is needed before then, I can try to work something out to have my roommate accomodate you.

I've checked with British Airways, and British Rail. From my house it is a 20 minute drive to the train station. From there it is a thirty five minute journey by train to the airport (you need to check in two hours before take off), the flight is about six hours so, I reckon by the time you get home every night you'll have to turn around and go right back out again which means there's room at my house Cate.

I can't PROMISE my place will be available, but it's a 50-50 percent chance. We're right in Manhattan. We're supposed to be having renovation work, but it just isn't happening. If it still isn't happening when you come, you can camp at my place.

I wish I still lived in Manhattan! - However, I do live less than an hour away by direct train...(or I'll drive you there!) if you cannot come up with a place...I'm sure you will, though. BTW, if you do come, I'd love to meet you in person - even just to say Hello.... (and maybe one hug?) I'll meet you anywhere, any time!

I'm downtown, near Bway/Houston (pronounced HOUSE-ton, FYI, a major "tourist tell"), a thouroughfare for shopping etc.--would love to see you! (I was offering my loftbed, but lucky for you you don't need it--I bet I have the messiest one of the whole bunch, and I'd win that one, no doubt!)
