Bittersweet & Peppermint

My children are in Texas. Seems they took the holidays with them when they left. I knew their leaving would be hard for me, but there's something so primal about their being gone. It leaves me wanting to wander in circles and scratch the ground for their scent.

I don't even have the words to respond properly. Joint custody is tough. And really, holidays are for the kids, so that must make it doubly difficult for you. ::hugs::

Thanks, Danny. This is the first time doing this, so I know it will get easier with time...at least, I'm hoping that will be the case.
