Getting ready for a trip to New Orleans next week to interview some witnesses for a sexual assault on a child case...actually on multiple children, but this is the beginning of my preparation for trial. Love, love, love New Orleans! Even though it's going to be pretty much all business, just being there will be great. I spent most of my adolescence in Louisiana, so I always have this feeling of homecoming anytime I go there. But the main reason I love it so much can be summed up in one word: CRAWFISH. : )

Re: Crawfish

I have eaten mexican food, in a mexican restaraunt run my mexicans. Capitol Hill, Seattle. It was marvelous, the best I've ever tasted. Enchiladas, refried beans. A portion big enough to feed a family of four and I confess, I cleared my plate. I also had many margharitas. (apologies if my spelling is crap here)

I would say Indian food is probably ambrosia. It's more popular than fish 'n' chips here now, the No.1. take away food in the UK. My own No.1 dish? Chana Aloo (chick peas and potato - no meat for me!)

Cajun and Soul Food? A long time ago a Jamaican lady did Jerk Pork for me which was very good.
