HAHAHAHA!!! Lordy!!! That almost makes me sorry I don't watch Judge Judy! I get enough courtroom drama at work, though. What in the hell was he doing? Was he party to a suit??? I really adore Johnny Rotten. He's gone right into middle-age sniping, sneering, and showing everyone his big hairy bum! If only we could all be so dignified. Teehee!
He was suing a dude that bailed on him mid-tour. The guy was counter suing for doctor bills. He said JR punched him. JR won. I'm sure it'll be one again they show those syndicated shows ad naseum.
So can I be nosy? Ohh court drama at work? Really? I just did a moot court in my law class this summer! woohoo This February I'm taking the LSATs (I was supposed to take them this weekend but I bailed)
LSAT? My condolences. The only thing I can tell you is...it only gets worse! Heehee! Nah, it's not that bad. I am a lawyer--licensed in California and Texas. Used to live in L.A., but now I work as a felony prosecutor in a small city in Texas. I do all the felony drug cases, arsons, and male victim sexual assaults/child abuse cases. It's a trippy job, fer sure!
I'm getting my Masters in Forensic science (hopefully if I can quit goofing and get my work done!) in about 3 weeks! Law school was my next move only because I fell in love with my criminal law classes. I have to say I can't think of a better escape than LJ (or the internet for that matter) to make me forget about some of the cases we study in my pathology and homicide classes.
No shit, eh? I know what you mean. Criminal law is one of those professions that leaves you with images in your head that you'd reeeeeeally rather not have, and that are impossible to share with people whose lives are a bit more insulated. My job definitely serves as a daily reminder of how horrible and beautiful life is all at the same time. I wouldn't have it any other way, though.
