There is always a balance between honesty and its price for me. I rarely make anything but public posts anymore, but given the chance, however slight, that my inlaws might come across my last entry I have chosen to lock it to friends only. It would be extremely hurtful to them if they knew what he had really done, so I will err on the side of caution out of respect for them. They've endured enough and deserve as much blissful ignorance as they can get.
