Back in Texas for a couple of days for the girl detective's wedding. I am ready for a long spell of no commitments for a while. I'll be back home on Sunday. I think it will seem more like home once I'm able to be there without having to worry about leaving...this wedding and the upcoming travel for it was like a shadow that followed me from the time I left here in the first place. Not that I'm complaining, mind you. I love the girl detective and I would have crossed oceans and deserts to be here, but it's the constant feeling of unsettledness that's beginning to get to me. I want to be still for a while.

how's home feeling now? it's november, are there still leaves turning on the east coast or is that all super-duper completely over?

Still feeling a little strange, but I'm getting more comfortable each day. There are still a few leaves hanging on to the trees, but the really showy change of color ended about a week or so ago. I did get to see it, though. It was beautiful!
