Although I have another week until my "official" departure, today is my last day in court as a felony prosecutor. It feels strange and sad in some ways. In other ways, I'm starting to feel a giddy high of relief, like I'm finally reaching the finish line of an excruciatingly long race. Everything is a bit off and I don't know if it would feel better to laugh or cry.
