My First Kiss: The U.K. number 1 was I Only Have Eyes For You by Art Garfunkel. The U.S. number 1 was Bad Blood by Neil Sedaka.
High School Graduation: The U.K. number 1 was House Of Fun by Madness. The U.S. number 1 was Ebony and Ivory by Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson.
Honorable Number One Son: The U.K. number 1 was Unchained Melody / (There'll Be Bluebirds Over) The White Cliffs Of Dover by Robson Greene And Jerome Flynn. The U.S. number 1 was Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman? by Bryan Adams.

Yikes! A pretty foul selection, with the exception of Cilla Black, Madness, and the sublimely groovy "Bad-Bad Blood-Blood" Sedaka song.

Re: I'm so cool
I think I have heard "Deeper Shade of Soul" but I'm so bad at remembering names of songs...and oddly enough, I do remember a lot about that first kiss. It was Halloween and I wore a shiny orange and black can-can girl costume with black patent shoes. I kissed a boy named Lance and his breath smelled like candy corn. I don't remember much about the kiss but I just remember the details of that night for some reason. Weird what we recall from our childhoods...I can see some things so clearly and other things I barely remember at all.
