I love this house, but it's starting to feel less and less like my home as I get ready to move to the new place. We'll be in Morris Plains, NJ...about an hour from NYC. I'm not sure if that's closer or not. It may be about the same either way.
So cool!! You'll have to come visit once I get things in order! And, get ready; I'll be bugging you for all sorts of northern-oriented gardening advice. ; )
I haven't but I like the sound of the name. Most of my forays into Austin are spent lying on my belly at Southside Tattoo. And then gorging myself at Magnolia Cafe. : )
That Cecil Beaton photo pf Gloria Swanson is one of my faves too! Adrian told me once that it reminded him of me. I even use it as an LJ photo. I have a witch in my kitchen, but your buddha is cutest! I wish I had gotten to see your house before you move.......:-(
