I may be debauched but I don't think I am either illiterate or vicious. I did becpme concerned for my literacy yesterday when a student complained about my use of the plural "fishes." It turns out that there are both fish and fishes in my Oxford desk dictionary.

I was a voice crying in the wilderness on all of the races here in Georgia. The only ones which went the way I was voting were the local city commission races. I wound up having to vote in a precinct other than the one in which I live. The address on my driver's license is wrong, and that is the one used for voter registration. I only feel moderately guilty having done that, given how dismal the outcome was in all of the other faces.

At least you voted. I don't even care whom people vote for---that's their business. I was mainly just trying to make the point about how sad it is that we (mainly women and other minority voters) are already taking for granted the legacy for which so many people fought hard battles. And you? Debauched??!!?? Why, I can't believe it! ; )
