Most annoying sound ever created: Those cheesy, synthesized easy-listening versions of formerly cool songs that pop up simultaneously with a web page when you're not really expecting it. I feel like I just stepped on a fucking land mine!!! Medic!!!!!!! *gag*

The only time I've ever found those things to be a boon instead of a hindrance was when I was trying to figure out tunes to old sea shanties. Since I don't read music, the midi files did the trick.

But, yeah. I don't really need to hear "Tie A Yellow Ribbon 'Round The Old Oak Tree" peeping at me like an orphaned baby bird when I randomly happen upon someone's page.

The only sea shanty I know is the Spongebob Squarepants themesong. Oh, wait...does that "yo ho ho and a bottle of rum" song count??? If so, then I know one and a half!!
