Scavenger Hunt

Ok, this has been driving me crazy because I told Miss Trixie about this guy and now I can't find him. Who amongst you has a friend who is an EMT or some other sort of medical guy (possibly someone doing an internship) in New Orleans (or in the deep south somewhere---he's not from there, but probably moved there for work) who smokes, has a good writing style, and is kinda crabby and curmudgeonly? I know he's a friend of one of my friends and I can't find him again!! I don't have a glass slipper for him or anything, but I would like to figure out who he was.

Hmm... are you thinking of wedrinkbitter, from my friends list? He is a 4th-year med student with the Navy who was recently on duty in New Orleans. He's a great guy, and I had a good conversation with him earlier today. His posts are sometimes on the curmudgeonly side, and he does smoke.
