Joe Strummer !!!

He presents a show called "world of music" on the BBC world service now...its a far cry from "the clash"

Four

Remind me about Night Stalker. That was my childhood, too, and I remember the title but none of the players.

Obviously there is one question missing which is perhaps only applicable to our generation. I missed my chance with Ken on a night he was supplying mushrooms in Gainesville, FLA.

Remember, Kolchak? (http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Stargate/4991/klchkhom.htm)

As for the missing question...you're going to have to tell me what it is because that answer allows for ALL KINDS of possibilities! ; )

Re: Four

Ah, yes. Darren McGavin. I probably would have picked Kung Fu, although I was already in high school at that point.

My question would be similar to the Bass Ale survey about who you wish that you could share a pint with. But this would be one of those substances designed to open the doors of perception.

Sometimes I just play Court and Spark over and over. It's funny, the songs all have a similar sound to them, but I don't get tired of them.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I've been listening to it for over 25 years and I'm still not tired of it. I love all her stuff. Ladies of the Canyon is another one of my absolute favorites...but it's hard to narrow it down. She's a diva, in the best sense of the word.

I love Court & Spark, too. And I'd like to learn that zipper trick, as well.

Damn zippers drive me crazy. I've been sewing since I was fifteen and I STILL can't get the damn things right!!

Antigua, Guatemala

OH my god... isn't that one of the nicest little towns ever!??? ... I spent a week and a bit there when i travelled through central america... I was amazed at the difference between this and Guatemala city... they actually have a law against neon signs or even protruding signs so that they preserve the "antiquity" of the town... this is one of my favourite places in the world... I sat in the center square for an entire day just watching people....

Re: Antigua, Guatemala

I agree. It's one of the most beautiful spots on earth...and the spirituality of the place is just amazing. I will definitely return there one of these days.

I'm having one of those afternoons when not much is getting done. Road trip to Montana -- I'll just drink a cherry coke toast to memories, CC.
