hee, on a good day i bear fucking up on the piano with grace.. one of the few times i meet that ideal :) maybe i'll learn about grace after i finish learning about temperance.

I agree with that in the case of true accidents, but I think that, in the case of societal problems, the ideal person makes a conscious effort to do what can be done to change things for the generations that follow, and sometimes challenging dominant groups cannot be done gracefully.
