Life in a Box

This will probably be my last post for a while. I'm still up to my ceiling in boxes and the packing continues. The girl detective and her beau showed up yesterday just as I was standing in the middle of my kitchen beginning my tear-laden nervous breakdown. She shows up when I'm in trouble without any hint from me at all. I hadn't even talked to her for a couple of days. But she grabs a roll of tape and said, "I knew you needed help." I love her so much...not just for yesterday, but for a million reasons.

I'm going to try to call Amanda, tsarina, from the road so she can keep any of you who are interested updated as to my progress along the 1800 mile or so route.
