I'm taking my little heathens to meet their newly acquired extended family tomorrow. It will be their first plane ride and their first time out of the country. I don't mean the U.S.; I mean the countryass country. My little country mice, they get excited when we go over an overpass on the highway; I can't imagine what they'll think about all the bridges and (as Jacob calls it) the Entire State building. He didn't even know what an elevator was. He thought we'd have to climb up the outside of it with ropes. Of course, to a five-year-old that's probably a much cooler way to go than an elevator anyhow. We're also going to get to see the new house and the new neighborhood. I'm going to get to the city as well to see Joi (and hopefully some of my other favorite people!). I've got a sexual assault of a child trial on the Monday I get back, so things are going to be pretty hectic for a while. I'm still doing fortunes, so don't give up on those. I do try to do them when I have time to really focus, though; so it may be a week or so before you see yours. Have a wonderful, safe holiday everyone! I'll see you on the other side of it. : )
