Guess what "Little Miss Freedom Fighter"? I mentioned this to my S. O. This is the first time he has ever gotten severely interested in what someone said in their journal. He made me print this out. Because you are favoring what the terrorists are doing, and because you live in a suburb of Chicago called Oak Park, my S. O. wants to have a hard copy of this in case anything "odd" happens around our area. Heck, he was tempted just to turn this in regardless of if something happens or not.

Oh and don't bother deleting the journal entry either. I screen captured and copied a picture just in case.

At least I give a shit about my country and the innocents that died over this petty bullshit.

My S. O. wanted me to state a couple of more facts about this situation...

His father formatlly worked for the CIA. Because of that, his family has lots of connections.

He personally knows people in the CIA and FBI. It wouldn't be too difficult to contact them if necessary.

I wouldn't worry at all about this, E. It's just more stupid bullshit. First of all, what this chick said was ignorant, cruel, and extremely inflammatory under the circumstances...but it was in no way anything that is illegal or even unprotected speech. Anyone "sending her post in to the FBI" or "reporting her to the CIA" is doing nothing but wasting people's time...and showing themselves as having a fundamental misunderstanding of the laws governing free speech. She has her right to say things that make her look like an asshole. I have my right to say that she ought to be ashamed of herself. Others have their right to comment, positively or negatively, on whatever they feel about it. You know me, and you know that I am intimately familiar with all the nasty little ins and outs of our government's ability to fuck with people. Any complaints about something as insignificant as this gal's stupid remarks would go straight into the circular file at any agency. Speak freely, sister. You know I'll be the first to tell you when it's time to be paranoid. : )
