Honestly, I have no idea; but it definitely happened sometime this weekend. What is really puzzling to me is how something that would leave my foot looking like this wouldn't have caught my attention when the damage actually occurred. I was drinking, but not to excess (certainly not to the point where I wouldn't have noticed something falling on my foot or running over me! I'm a lightweight drinker anyway)...so I can't figure out for the life of me what happened.
Ha!! Nope. I can't figure out what it could have been. I have a big lump on top, so either something fell on it or maybe someone stepped on my foot and I just didn't notice at the time. It doesn't even really hurt that much.
Um... that could be bad. Blue means a lack of circulation. If you didnt do anything to actually cause bruising on your foot you should get it looked at.
Unless of course you bought a blue pair of the shoes my mother did recently which upon first wearing them turned every inch of skin they touched on her foot a lovely brown color.
That's why I didn't pay much attention when I first saw it. I thought it was dye on my foot from my boots getting wet. It's a tiny bit sore today, but doesn't really even hurt much.
That's strange! And sorta familiar. About 3 weeks ago I had sorta similar bruising on my foot (not quite as large) and it was a mystery to me as well how it happened. It didn't really hurt though unless I pushed on it real hard to see if it was actually a bruise. Put a steak on it.
Seriously, get that looked at. One of my friends m_fallenangel started having circulatory problems in his lower extremities, and it's a very good thing he did.
It's definitely from something hitting my foot. I've got a big bump on the top that's suspicious as the "point of impact." We were camping on a lot of rocks and I'm thinking I might have knocked it against one without really paying much attention. Whatever it was, when it happened it didn't hurt enough to even notice.
It definitely looks a lot worse than it feels! It wasn't from skating. My guess is someone stepped on me or something fell on me and I just didn't notice it enough to remember when it happened. I can't even blame it on being too drunk to remember!

Maybe it was from roller-skating? Maybe you were having so much fun you didn't realize you fucked up your foot?
I sure hope it doesn't feel as bad as it looks...
