It's almost four a.m. and I feel stories coming on. I haven't written (anything remotely literary) for a while so it's nice when I can see new words just on the horizon. But this has nothing to do with why I'm awake at such an ungodly hour...I just have a cold and couldn't sleep. I've become the Elvis of cold medicine. Dayquil/Nyquil/Dayquil/Nyquil/Dayquil/Nyquil.....'night.

I hope that post about trying to bring people over to Team Insomnia hasn't actually taken effect. Sorry to hear you're sick--you've had a very stressful few weeks; I tend to get sick after major upheavals, too.

If you haven't tried taking zinc supplements, they might help decrease the length of your cold.

Team Insomnia! Hehe! I must have missed that post but that's funny. You know, I didn't even realize how stressful it has been until yesterday. I think I just need to sleep...for the whole day. (For those of you who don't have children, this is a luxury that disappears once you have kids.) I may take a day off tomorrow. I'm worn out! : )

my wife still sleeps with her childhood blanky. She really feels like she can't go more than a day or so without it.

I don't have any childhood things that I sleep with. I am weird about pillows though. I have to have two for my head and one on each side of me. I've done that since I was a kid.

Nice to meet you I'm the lip balm Mata Hari!

Ohhh new story! A while back I was gonna email you and tell you that I was working on something to submit to your zine but in true me fashion I decided to wait and complete it....and of course I didn't. Maybe I can get it done in time to submit it next time *sigh*

Ha! Lip balm Mata Hari! That's rich! : ) I wish you would submit something sometime! I love the way you write...but you knew that already. You have an open invitation to send along some of that good stuff whenever the mood strikes you!

A new story, eh? Good. About time you were sucked back into the vortex. :) As Uncle Bill Burroughs used to say, "No escape from the Shakespeare Squad." *sigh*

Ack! We're sick, too. But no DayQuil/NightQuil. (Heh! I'm thinking a little Fiddler On The Roof "Sunrise, Sunset" would fit well, here.)
