Carrollton is in the Dallas metroplex......quite far away from Houston. We are expected to get winds and rain and such but no hurricane (since we are landlocked) Admittedly, depending on conditions there is the possibilities of tornados, but we won't know for certain. Rita is expected to make landfall on Sat. morning. Dallas area won't feel any of the effects until LATE Sat. night or Sunday morning.
