Had a blast at the roller derby last night! Tons of action and fun! I also got my badass Pro-Design pads last night---just in time for roller derby crash camp in a couple of weeks! Yay!
Michael Jackson? Stone pedophile, textbook case. I'm going to go out on a limb and say they'll find him guilty. They should. I think the prosecutors flubbed a lot of stuff (shades of a lot of the dumbass mistakes that we saw in the OJ trial...not enough preparation by the actual attorneys in the courtroom...I suspect this comes from having too many flunkies working the case up for trial, but that's just a guess). Will it surprise me if they don't? Not at all.
I've been reading a book of short stories by Meera Nair. They are very, very good. More contemporary Indian writers I shouldn't miss?
Swimming has begun! I love the water and it's warm enough to jump right into now! This makes me happy.
I'm going to paint my house this summer and my door will be a brilliant red.
I noticed my ex-husband is back on the internet, trolling and listing himself in his personals as "single, never married."

I fell off the nicotine wagon for a while, but I'm slowly crawling back on. I can't even smoke much anyhow. Having kids is worse than having parents, man. I can't get a vice in edge-wise!
I have to travel for business sometime this summer up to Massachusetts...Blackstone, I think? Is that anywhere near any of you?
I'm brewing some art ideas and my latest hairbrained scheme is going to be making fountains. I'll keep you posted.
