lacyunderall came for a Friday night of gossip, Cheetos, and hot tub. She's one of the greatest girls I know, in that Best Friends Forever sort of way that we sometimes seem to forget about as we get older. It was all the fun of being fourteen, with the wisdom and humor of another few decades rolled in. I don't think I've laughed so much in ages.
I spent Saturday in the company of a grey-eyed ram, walking under the full moon, telling stories for hours. My life seems to be taking another unexpected turn, softer and gentler this time, with plenty of room to breathe and grow.
