  • I was actually vaccinated for smallpox. It's an ugly scar and I remember my first grade teacher telling us that our whole bodies would look like the scar if we actually got it. Thanks, Teach.

  • I was talking to someone earlier about a show called The Midnight Special that Geraldo Rivera used to do a news segment for back when he was a real reporter. I also mentioned the Willowbrook piece. Response: That blank stare of "I don't know what you're talking about crazy lady and I want to escape your company, but I'm afraid to move because I think you're having some sort of seventies-induced freakout."

  • Did Art Linkletter's daughter really jump out of a window on acid? And why do I even remember hearing anything like that?

  • Someone mentioned Jack Wild the other day. I wrote a letter to him when I was seven. I wanted to marry him, but only if Bobby Sherman wouldn't have me.

  • I can remember almost the entire "Billy Jack" parody from Mad Magazine. It still cracks me up.

  • The only skateboard I ever owned and loved was made of wood and steel wheels.

  • Remember maxi-dresses? Well, I do.

  • Heartbeat...it's a lovebeat...and a lovebeat is a good vibration.
