1. Tape your walls with low-tack tape. Do 1 wall at a time.
2. Mix your paints with the glaze - about 1 part paint to 2 parts glaze. Experiment a bit; you may need a bit more paint or glaze depending on the consistency.
3. Fold your rag so that it is fairly smooth and fits in your hand.
4. Roll on the lighter glaze in small sections, applying quite thickly. Apply the darker glaze randomly over the already painted portion immediately.
5. Rag the wall softly, then push the glaze into lines to create veins. Go back over the areas you pushed to soften the white areas.
6. Veins have different intensities, are different lengths and go in various directions. Straight lines will not look realistic. Stand back a lot and look at the overall effect to make sure you aren?t creating a pattern. Keep it random.
7. Continue over the whole wall, let dry, then remove tape and tape the next wall. Repeat instructions for the rest of the walls.
