Amen! Thanks for that. I'm as upset as anyone, but I don't think people should look at this like it's the end of the world. It's more of a wake up call as to the direction a large portion of this country is moving in. I don't think any of us had realized how bad it had truly gotten until the results of this election started to roll in. Perhaps now people will get more involved in hands-on activities and grass roots organizations and really strive to make some changes. koaloha (http://www.livejournal.com/users/koaloha) made quite a powerful post about this subject this morning, too.
