I am a mother. To two boys that I hope will outlive me by many years.

I am pro choice. And pro birth control. And pro sex education.

I am a gun owner. The shotgun is my weapon of choice, but a pistol will do.

I am pro death penalty. But believe it’s overused. And racist.

I believe in freedom. Even as our leaders wipe their asses with the Bill of Rights.

I despise politicians. Just about every goddamn one of them nowadays.

I am a Texan. Not born in Connecticut. Born in Texas.

I love my country. Enough to believe we’ll survive even these two fuckwits.
